ATA Services, Inc. is a temporary staffing agency in Albuquerque. At this time, we're looking to hire a temporary Administrative Assistant to work on an assignment with Workforce Solutions in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour with weekly pay
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Location: In-office in Las Cruces, NM
The Clerical Support Staff provides essential administrative support to the department, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role primarily involves answering incoming calls, directing them appropriately, and efficiently distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Phone Reception:
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Take accurate messages and forward them to the appropriate personnel.
- Schedule and confirm appointments as needed.
Mail Management:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail to designated recipients.
- Prepare outgoing mail for shipment, including preparing packages and ensuring proper postage.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing mail.
- General Office Support:
- Perform basic clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing, and filing.
- Assist with office organization and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide general administrative support to the department as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
